In 2022, I had the honor of being initiated into Agape’s Spiritual Practitioner Core, along with my classmates, while being uniquely anointed by Reverend Michael under the Spiritual Attribute of Fun.
“Fun?”, I thought, “Is that even a Spiritual Quality?” Perhaps you’re having a similar response yourself.
Having heard the invitation within, I listened to the Intelligence seeking expression as me. Please allow me to share what surfaced.
Spiritual FUN is an exhilarating and transformative frequency that encourages the ‘Joy of Life’ as deep spiritual practice. The consciousness of Fun beckons my innate sense of wonder, playfully engaging my inherent innocence, creativity and freedom. With these qualities vibrating through me, I am able to be with awe, to be in awe, releasing fear of it.
In Spiritual Fun. I intentionally partake in activities, thoughts, and states of being that uplift my heart, nurturing my sense of connectedness, and stimulating my Bliss-awareness. These experiences create an inner atmosphere of acceptance, laughter, and lightness, inviting me to delve deeper into the profound aspects of my existence with childlike curiosity and openness.
Spiritual Fun gifts me with the realization of freedom fulfilled. I allow fun into my practice, into my awareness, into my heart, again and again, calling forth the omnipresent consciousness of harmonic balance that lives between the profane and the playful.
I am immeasurably grateful for the Fun had in being with like-hearted individuals who share my enthusiasm. I get to celebrate my global community in high spirits, showing up as God’s Good Pleasure as we explore the depths of Being, engage in Spiritual practice, and support each other’s inward journey. Through sacred laughter and tears, dance and stillness, sounds and silences, I am nourished by a community that encourages Divine-Self-expression.
Thus, I confirm, that yes, indeed: just as God IS, Fun IS.
I rejoice in celebration of God’s Joy as me. My heart speaks many love languages, one of which is laughter.
